Neeharika Ramji is a rising senior at Sutherland High School. She has been training in Bharatanatyam for the past eight years under the guidance of her Guru, Smt. Parvatha Chidambaram. Through this journey, she has developed a deep appreciation for Indian culture while learning the values of discipline, dedication, and perseverance. Bharatanatyam has become an important part of her life, allowing her to express herself artistically while creating lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.
Outside of dance, Neeharika is actively involved in both her school and local community. She is a member of her school's Interact Club, where she enjoys volunteering and giving back through community service. She is also a proud member of the National Honor Society, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service. In addition, Neeharika serves as an Explorer with the Pittsford Fire Department, where she gains valuable hands-on experience while helping and supporting her community.
Neeharika has also been active in athletics. She played field hockey through her school, enjoying the teamwork, discipline, and friendships the sport fostered. She also trained in Taekwondo for several years, earning the rank of brown belt. This experience strengthened her confidence, determination, and resilience.
In her free time, Neeharika enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and watching her favorite TV shows. As she prepares to enter her senior year, she is incredibly grateful for the love and support of her family, friends, and guru throughout her Bharatanatyam journey. Her Arangetram is a celebration of eight years of hard work, growth, and passion, and she looks forward to continuing her connection with this beautiful art form for years to come.
